Summary:

Present in the Sacred Heart-Morton area of southwestern MN (Lake Superior region) as part of Lake Superior province gneiss terrane. Is part of a larger stratigraphic unit of quartzose feldspathic gneiss that includes amphibolitic rafts. locally migmatized to later phases of granite and pegmatite. Correlation chart and geologic map. Is Early, Middle, and Late Archean in age.
