Named Macedonia Bed of Grier Limestone Member of Lexington Limestone and adopted by the USGS. Named for Macedonia Church in northwestern Woodford County, Ky. Composed of interbedded tabular argillaceous micrograined limestone and shale as much as 15 ft thick and 60 to 65 ft above the base of the Grier limestone Member.
