Summary:

Is one of eight formations assigned to the Interlake Group. Name extended in subsurface to the Williston basin of central ND where it consists of nondescript interbedded dolomite, argillaceous dolomite, and anhydrite. Difficult to distinguish from the underlying Fife Lake Formation of the Interlake. Underlies Cedar Lake Formation of Interlake transitionally. [Thickness in ND not stated.] History of nomenclature chart. Silurian age.
