Summary:

Is an informal sandstone unit in lower part of Steele Shale. Is shown only on correlation chart of Upper Cretaceous rocks in south-central WY and nearby areas (table 1) under the column for Powder River basin (Salt Creek). Is correlated with an unnamed sandstone in the Cody Shale in southeastern Wind River basin. Is shown to be correlative with the lower Campanian SCAPHITES HIPPOCREPIS III Western Interior ammonite zone.
