Bushberg Sandstone mapped in St. Louis, MO, area. Consists of yellow- to yellowish-brown, fine- to coarse-grained, friable quartz sandstone. Consists of a discontinuous, single massive bed. Thickness is 0 to 25 ft (0 to 8 m). On geologic map, included with overlying Chouteau Limestone, but is shown separately on cross sections.
