Summary:

Pure limestone of Beck Pond limestone contains NANOTHYRIS cf. N. SUBGLOBOSA of New Scotland to Oriskany age. Arkosic limestone contains ORTHOSTROPHIA STROPHOMENOIDES, EATONIA cf. E. MEDIALIS, and EOSPIRIFER MACROPLEURA, all of which suggest a New Scotland age. Thus, the formation is in part or possibly all Devonian (New Scotland) age.
