Pg. 65. Bald Rock conglomerate member of Lee formation. Middle member of Lee formation in Wise County, southwestern Virginia. Thickness 15 to 200 feet; is 70 feet thick at Bald Rock. Underlies Starns coal and overlies Burton Ford coal. Age is Pennsylvanian.
Named from exposures at Bald Rock, in vicinity of Miller Yards, about 4 mi west of Dungannon, [Dungannon 7.5-min quadrangle, TVA 196-SW, 1935 ed., Scott Co.], southwestern VA.
