On North Horn Mountain, in T. 18 and 19 S., R. 6 E., Emery Co., UT. Origin of name not stated by author, but probably named from North Horn Mountain (Spieker, 1946).
Principal reference section: in Price Canyon, in northeast part of sec. 21 and southwest part of sec. 15, T. 12 S., R. 9 E., Carbon Co., UT (Fouch and others, 1987).
