Type section: measured on west limb of syncline southeast of Chiulos Canyon, near Tintic Davis shaft, in S/2 SE/4 sec. 30 and N/2 NE/4 sec. 31, T. 9 S., R. 2 W., North Tintic district, Utah Co., western UT (Morris and Lovering, 1961).
