Type section: Palisades on Sugar River, from lower contact above rippled ledge at top of main fall above New York Central RR bridge, to upper contact with Denley Limestone type section 0.4 km above bridge, Leyden Twp., Lewis Co., north-central NY (Kay, 1968).
