Early to Middle Ordovician (Ibexian to Whiterockian; Cassinian to Rangerian)


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Exposures on north side of Seaboard Air Line Railway, about 0.33 mi east of Odenville, St. Clair Co., AL (Butts 1926).
Unit extends along the Helena thrust sheet from some point between Odenville and Fremont Gap, southwestward to the Coastal Plain overlap in Chilton Co., AL (Osborne and Raymond, 1992).
