Type locality: roadcuts along Weissenfels Ridge, in NW/4 sec. 24 (projected) and NE/4 sec. 23 (projected), T. 9 N., R. 46 E., Captain John Rapids quadrangle, Asotin Co., southeastern WA (Swanson and others, 1979).
