(alphabetical) --all in OR*,WA*; all informal: basalt of Dodge, basalt of Robinette Mountain, basalt of Shumaker Creek.

late Tertiary (middle Miocene)*


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type locality: south and southeast side of Eckler Mountain (misspelled Echler Mountain on Pullman 1- x 2-degree sheet), about 17 km southeast of Dayton, in N/2 sec. 26 and N/2 sec. 27, T. 9 N., R. 40 E., Eckler Mountain quadrangle, Columbia Co., WA (Swanson and others, 1979).
