Well exposed in drainage basin of Mescal Gulch and Deception Gulch, which is the name for the deep rugged part of Hull Canyon south of Jerome, Yavapai Co., central AZ. Also exposed south of Mingus Mountain between Ash Creek and Black Canyon.
