Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type section: exposures along road cut on IN Highway 160, 2 mi (3.2 km) southeast of Henryville, Clark Co., southeastern IN. Named from Clegg Creek, a tributary to Silver Creek, 2 mi from type section (Lineback, 1968).
