Summary:

Name abandoned. Rocks formerly assigned to Ward Gap are reassigned to the Elephant Mountain Member because of their similarity to Elephant Mountain at its "type". Elephant Mountain is one of ten members of the Saddle Mountains Basalt (rank raised) of the Columbia River Basalt Group.
