Present in the Sacred Heart-Morton area of southwestern MN in Lake Superior region as part of Lake Superior province gneiss terrane. Is a medium-grained, homogenous to weakly foliated granite. Intrudes Morton Gneiss and is considered Late Archean in age. Geologic map and correlation chart.
