Old Business:

• Progress report on action items from last meeting is included herein for the record:
  • relation and role names were added to the UML file by Steve Richard.
  • introductory text for the report was written by Steve Richard.
  • working group meeting June 26-27 was held in Ottawa.
  • v1.0 of the conceptual model was circulated and reviewed by DMDT.
  • v1.0 of the conceptual model was circulated to NADMSC prior to the meeting.

New Business:

• Conceptual model v1.0 document:
  • style changes suggested by DMDT:
    • more consistent use of class names;
    • more consistent use of figures and tables in presenting key classes.
  • style changes suggested by NADMSC:
    • standard recommended citation to be provided;
    • document template to be aligned with SLLT documents.
  • substantial changes:
    • a known issues list is to be compiled and made available.
• Conceptual model v1.0 name: agreed to drop "NORTON" working name:
  • Official name: "NADM Conceptual Model 1.0"
  • Abbreviation: "NADM c1.0"
• Future activities: were discussed; see action items below.
• Geologic Data Model International Collaboration meeting:
  • forthcoming in Edinburgh (BGS) and to be attended by Bruce, Boyan and Eric from DMDT and Dave Soller from NADMSC.
