Type section: American Aggregates pit section, in east side of railroad cut at gravel quarry in north-central part of sec. 36, T. 14 N., R. 1 W., at northeast edge of Richmond, Wayne Co., southeastern IN. Occurs in Whitewater Valley and basin (Gooding, 1963).
