Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Along U.S. Interstate Highway I-84 near town of Henefer, along both sides of Weber River at eastern mouth of Weber Canyon, and southward to Emigration Canyon, Summit Co., northeastern UT. Named from local canyon in Weber River (DeCelles, 1994).

Uinta uplift
