Exposed in old quarry at Union, Cass Co., in valley side in NW/4 sec. 22, T. 10 N., R. 13 E., and 1.5 mi southwest of Union, in secs. 33 and 28, T. 10 N., R. 13 E., southeastern NE. Named from Union, Cass Co., NE (Condra and Bengtson, 1915).
