Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Exposure at center of west side of sec. 22, T. 2 N., R. 20 E., Pushmataha Co., OK, about 4.6 mi east of Tuskahoma on U.S. Highway 271. Origin of name not stated by authors, but probably named from Tuskahoma (Goldstein and Hendricks, 1953).
