Type section: exposures along Highway Route 156, 2.1 km west of the west peak of La Torrecilla (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 160,950 E.; 40,180 N. to 160,990 E.; 41,140 N.), and exposures in Rio Botijas, 100 m east, Barranquitas quadrangle, Puerto Rico (Briggs, 1969).
