Type locality: abandoned quarry at Tehuacana, Limestone Co., eastern TX (Harris, 1896; Plummer, 1933).
[Reference sections]: Lower part typically exposed along west face of scarp on which town of Tehuacana stands; higher horizons best represented in quarry 0.5 mi east of town (Gardner, 1935).
