One-meter-high exposure on south side of Cherokee County Road 229 (Soap Stone Road) northwest of Pacolet Mills, 7.49 km N. 5 deg. E. of the intersection of U.S. Highway 176 and SC Highway 150, Pacolet, SC. Named from South Goucher Creek (Mittwede, 1989).
