Type locality: north end of Spectre Spur, northeastern Soda Mountains, [approx. Lat. 35 deg. 18 min. 30 sec. N., Long. 116 deg. 13 min. 30 sec. W., Baker 15-min quadrangle], San Bernardino Co., CA (Grose, 1959).

Mojave basin
