Type section (composite): (1) logging road S-1000 on Slide Mountain, in sec. 4 and 9, T. 39 N., R. 6 E.; (2) logging road 400 on the southeast side of Canyon Creek, north of the North Fork of Nooksack River, in W/2 sec. 36, T. 40 N., R. 6 E.; and (3) logging road SP-410 on the northeast side of Canyon Creek, in SE/4 sec. 25, T. 40 N., R. 6 E., Whatcom Co., WA (Johnson, 1984).
