Geologic age:

Late Pennsylvanian (Virgilian)


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

The Big Nemaha Valley of southern Richardson Co., southeastern NE, between points south of Humboldt and southwest of Falls City. Named from Richardson Co. (Condra, 1935).
