FORMATION STATUS --all in PA: Beckville Member*, Benezette Limestone Member*, Burgoon Sandstone Member*, Mount Carbon Member, Spechty Kopf Member.

Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Not designated. Later workers assume type area to be in Pocono Mountains, northeastern PA.
