Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type section: section along dirt road running south and southwest from GA Highway 120 in the northeast corner of the New Georgia quadrangle, to the first dirt road to the west, and along that road to its intersection with a road running north and southwest, 320 m west of cemetery on south side of road, Paulding Co., GA (Higgins and others, 1988).
