Serpentine Hot Springs area in headwater region of Serpentine River, Bendeleben D-6 and D-5 quadrangles (scale 1:63,360), north-central Seward Peninsula, AK (Hudson, 1979).
Oonatut is a local Eskimo term meaning "place where hot water exists" (C. Weyiounna, written commun., 1974).
