Informal. The rank or lithologic term should not be capitalized.
Neoproterozoic
Named from North Plain, CT, the only locality lying entirely within the facies, though poorly exposed there. Representative exposures at Brush Hill-Mitchell Road, Deep River quadrangle (Wintsch and others, 1990).
