Type section: exposures in road cuts on Highway 825 and in adjacent stream banks north of the town of Naranjito (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 172,160 E.; 52,350 N. to 172,050 E.; 52,070 N.), western border of the Naranjito quadrangle, north-central Puerto Rico (Pease, 1968).
