Best exposed along both sides of North Platte River at mouth of the Medicine Bow [now submerged], Carbon Co., southern WY, [in secs. 14, 15, T. 24 N., R. 84 W., Seminoe Dam SE 7.5-min quadrangle] (Bowen, 1918; see also Dobbin and others, 1929, USGS Bull. 804, pl. 27, geol. map and sections of Hanna and Carbon basins, WY, scale 1:62,500).
