Type section: cutbank exposures along Lagro Creek, 1 mi northeast of Lagro, Wabash Co., in SW/4 NE/4 sec. 26, T. 28 N., R. 7 E. (Wayne, 1963)
Reference section: Cutbank exposure on west-facing bluff along branch of Silver Creek, about 0.1 mi west of IN Highway 105, Huntington Co., in SE/4 NE/4 sec. 9, T. 28 N., R. 8 E., Bippus quadrangle (Wayne, 1963).
