Along Highway 37 near Waiakoa about 7 km northeast of Kula Hospital [Lat. 20 deg. 45 min. 45 sec. N., Long. 156 deg. 19 min. 48 sec. W., Kilohana 7.5-min quadrangle], east part of Island of Maui, HI (Langenheim and Clague, 1987; Macdonald and Davis IN Avias, 1956).
