Kalubik Formation of Ugnuravik Group (AK)
Early Cretaceous
Type section (subsurface): depth-interval 5,890 to 5,670 ft, Ugnu State No. 1 well, Kuparuk oil field, northernmost edge of Alaskan North Slope. Named from Kalubik Creek which flows into Harrison Bay (Carman and Hardwick, 1983).
