Type locality: east side of Flood Creek, between Lat. 69 deg. 02 min. 40 sec. and 69 deg. 03 min. 20 sec. N., Shaviovik and Sagavanirktok Rivers region, northern Brooks Range, northeastern AK (Keller and others, 1961).
