Type locality: along Quebrada Infierno from west border of Gurabo quadrangle to 900 m upstream (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 198,200 E.; 51,850 N. to 199,010 E.; 51,520 N.), [Barrio Quebrada Infierno, Gurabo quadrangle], northeastern Puerto Rico (Seiders, 1971).
