Not stated. Report discusses area around Bear Mountain, a prominent summit of Hudson Highlands, about 40 mi north of New York City, southeastern NY. Complex, in this area, is a relatively broad syncline or synclinorium plunging about 40 deg. NE. Storm King granite fills core of syncline (Lowe, 1950).
