[Not designated.] Named from high cliff-capped ridge in Eureka section that is composed entirely of rocks of this formation, Little Hatchet Mountains, southwestern NM. Howells Ridge in northern part of T. 28 S., R. 16 W., and in southern part of T. 27 S., R. 16 W. (Lasky, 1938).
