W., New Diggings 7.5-min quadrangle], Lafayette Co., southwestern WI (Templeton and Willman, 1963, Illinois Geol. Survey Bull., no. 89, p. 235; Willman and Buschbach, 1975, Illinois Geol. Survey Bull., no. 95, p. 47-87).
Named from Hazel Green, [in sec. 25, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., Cuba City 7.5-min quadrangle], Grant Co., southwestern WI, 6 mi southwest of type section (Templeton and Willman, 1963, p. 91; Willman and Buschbach, 1975).
Notable exposures in Dixon-Oregon area, northern IL (Templeton and Willman, 1952).
