Type section: nuclear power plant site in Lake Michigan bluff, in NW/4 NW/4 NE/4 sec. 22, T. 16 N., R. 23 E., Sheboygan North 7.5-min quadrangle, Sheboygan Co., eastern WI. Named from community of Haven [about 1 mi northwest of type section]; name credited to Larry J. Acomb and David M. Mickelson (Mickelson and others, 1984).
