Type locality: exposures along Route 433, immediately east of its junction with Route 119 (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 93,200 E.; 50,600 N.), Barrio Guacio, Municipio de San Sebastian, San Sebastian quadrangle, northwestern Puerto Rico (McIntyre and others, 1970).
[The Puerto Rico Meter Grid System on west and east margins of 1958 ed. of San Sebastian topographic quadrangle are in error; see adjacent Central la Plata and Bayaney quadrangles.]
