Type locality: Five Point Creek, near Five Point School, in sec. 25, T. 1 N., R. 15 E., Richardson Co., NE, 2 mi south and 4.5 mi west of Falls City [see Wilmarth, 1938].
Named from exposures in Five Point Valley, Richardson Co., NE (Condra, 1935).
