Typically exposed in vicinity of Coyote Creek, in sec. 12, T. 18 S., R. 5 W., about 8 mi west of Eugene, and near Fisher Butte, 0.25 mi west of Oak Hill, Lane Co., northwestern OR (Schenck, 1927).
