Along Echo Canyon, 1.75 to 3.5 mi north from Arkansas River, Cotopoxi quadrangle, Fremont Co., CO. Named from exposures in Echo Park, north side of Arkansas River, central part of T. 18 S., R. 73 W., Fremont Co., CO (Epis and Chapin, 1974).
