Altered syenite is well exposed on summit of Eagle Peak; unaltered syenite is well exposed on flanks of Eagle Peak and in Wind Canyon 1.5 mi southeast of Eagle Peak, Hudspeth Co., southwestern TX (Gillerman, 1953).
