Type section: Along the northeast side of the Quinebaug River from a pond 305 m (1,000 ft) southeast of Mill Road, extending northwest to a stream southeast of the bridge over the Quinebaug River at West Dudley, Webster quadrangle, Worcester Co., MA. Named from town of Dudley (Barosh & Moore, 1988).
