Type area: beds extending from the upper part of the bluff at Donoho Creek Landing (milepost 50.2) to Black Rock Landing (milepost 37), along Cape Fear River, Bladen Co., NC (Sohl and Owens, 1991).
Principal reference section (subsurface): depth-interval 873 to 1,072 ft, Clubhouse Crossroads No. 1 drill core, Dorchester Co., southeastern SC (GNU records, USGS DDS-6; Reston GNULEX).
